At the age of twenty two years she began a career in the graphic arts world and has 20 years' experience as an Executive Creative Director, Art Director, Designer, Illustrator and Creative Writer. A unique ability to understand marketing and the creative process has led Sharon to assist other companies with the start up of their own sales promotion departments, as well as owning her own sales promotion agency. Sharon specializes in new product introductions and the creation of new partner programs. She has held key creative positions and has freelanced at several St. Louis based sales & event marketing agencies including The Waylon Company, The Contemporary Group, DMBB and Kupper Parker. Her award-winning talent has had significant impact on an impressive client roster including The Coca-Cola Company, The Kellogg Company, HBO Television, Ralston Purina Company, Nabisco Foods and American Express Incentive Services. Sharon is the is the author of a new Fun & Creative diet book titled: "Psych Yourself Skinny" and is nationally recognized for her contemporary, "sophisticatedly fun" oil paintings featuring abstract figures with eye-sharing faces. Hayes's driving interests include fine art, interior decorating, graphic art and creative writing. Sharon is the epitome of an optimist and always has preferred life's lighter viewpoint, a trait eminently apparent in the emotions elicited by her art and writing. Sharon Marie Geisen Hayes was born in Alton Illinois in 1959 as fourth child in a line-up of nine. Her father was an auto mechanic by day and on-air radio musician by night, and her mother a loving home maker. Sharon's love of art and good sense of humor came at the early age of nine years when she received her first art easel. She'd drag her art supplies around from room to room in her home, which was always filled with music, noise, and plenty of people for which to turn into works of art.
